Claude and Josie moved to Victoria Harbour, Ontario in 2003 and were happy to call it home. There was nothing he loved more in life than his grandchildren, daughters, and son-in-laws. He was so very proud of them. Claude was always happy and friendly, striking up conversations with anyone who would like to lend an ear. He made an impression on numerous coworkers during his years working at "The Mill".He loved to play basketball; playing college basketball while at Northern College. And he was an avid fisherman. "May run" fishing trips to Lake Abitibi were the highlight of every year. He also enjoyed his time at the family cottage at Rice Lake in Iroquois Falls, particularly the beautiful sunsets. Many thanks to Dr. Miner and the staff of Southlake Hospital, Township of Tay volunteer firefighters, the County of Simcoe Paramedics and Officer Mike Brady. Although Claude was unable to say goodbye before his death, he would have wanted to thank all of the people that made his life so special.
