<div itemprop="description">With broken hearts the Moreau Family announces the tragic death of Dan Moreau at the age of 56 years. Dan died on Thursday, November 24th, 2016 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Temagami. Born August 7, 1960 in Newmarket, Dan will be remembered as an avid model airplane builder and enjoyed flying his models upon completion. Dan has been at resident of Temiskaming Shores for the past 33 years and was an employee of Grant's Transport Limited for the last 25 years. He was a man with a big heart always putting the needs of others before his own. His family and friends were everything to him and he will be sorrowly missed by all those whose life he touched. <br> <br>Predeceased by his parents Joseph (Kicker) and Fern Moreau; his son Keith Trevor Lapensee (1993) and by his sister Betty Ducaire. Dan is the loving husband of 22 years to Doreen Moreau; cherished brother of Diana and her husband Bill Pitfeld, Nancy and her husband Raymond Beausoleil and John Moreau. Also left to mourn are many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews as well as many extended family members. <br> <br>The family will receive friends at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave., Midland on Saturday, December 10th from 11 a.m. until the time of memorial service in the chapel at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre would be appreciated. Interment later at St. Margaret's Cemetery, Midland. <br> <br></div>
