<div itemprop="description">June Rebecca Walton RN<br /><br />Passed away at Hillcrest Village in Midland on Friday July 10, 2015, in her 95th year. June Walton of Midland, beloved wife for 66 years of the late Charles Walton. <br /><br />Registered nurse, graduated from Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie in 1944. She worked several years at St. Andrews Hospital Midland and later as office nurse for Dr. Ike Weldon.<br /><br />Member of St. Paul&rsquo;s United Church congregation and choir, she had a passion for music and sang throughout her life. She was also a member of the Serenata Choir.<br /><br />Past president of the Women&rsquo;s Section Midland Curling Club. She was an avid curler, golfer and loved and followed all sports.<br /><br />Dear mother of Wendy and her husband Rick Larmand, Mary Jane and her husband Michael Lalonde. Loving and fun Nana to Mike and his wife Kate Larmand, Chris and his wife Trish Larmand, Mark and his wife Jocelyn Larmand, Jessica Lalonde and Luke Lalonde. Great Nana of Ethan, Lacey, Isaac, Samantha, Sydney and Dylan Larmand. Sister of the late Alyce Watson and brother Bruce Manson. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends especially Barb Howard.<br /><br />We will all miss that twinkle in her eye, fun loving spirit and love for life.<br /><br />We would like to thank the staff of Hillcrest Village for their wonderful care and compassion.<br /><br />The family will receive friends at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave., Midland on Tuesday, July 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul&rsquo;s United Church, 308 King Street, Midland on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Midland. If desired, memorial donations to St. Paul&rsquo;s United Church or The Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.<br /><br /></div>
