<div itemprop="description">Arpin, Leo Jean passed away peacefully on March 24th, 2016, in his 89th year. Leo Aprin was born in Toronto on July 23rd, 1927. He was predeceased by his mother, Marie Emelda Bertrand and father Elie Regis Arpin and his beloved brother John Francis Arpin. Leo was well known in Midland and was forever telling others about John-the well known pianist of whom he was so proud and missed dearly. His smile and that twinkle in his eye would quickly engaged those he had encountered. Leo will be fondly remembered by his sister in law in Toronto, Mary Jane Esplen and his cherished family of nephews and nieces-Nadine and her husband Majid; Jennifer and her husband Steve; and Robert and his wife Lynne, his many grand nephews and nieces, as well as his long term Community Living family and caregivers. The family would like to thank Community Living Huronia, especially Beth, Wendy, EldaJean and Melanie and Dr. Coutts who took such good care of him. The family will receive friends at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave., Midland on Thursday, March 31st from 12 Noon until 1:45 p.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Margaret's Church, Midland at 2 p.m. Interment later at St. Margaret's Cemetery, Midland. If desired, memorial donations to Community Living Huronia would be appreciated.</div>
