She attended Queen’s University in Kingston and received a B.A. She then attended the University of Toronto, earning a B.L.S. She met John Tremblay at Queen’s and after he received his M.D. and completed advanced medical training (pathology) in the United States, they eventually settled in Midland, ON where she lived for the rest of her life. Mary enjoyed living in Midland and enjoyed an active social life with a wide circle of friends. The family would like to thank the many caregivers, especially Lorna Davis, for the caring and comfort they gave to Mary toward the end of her life. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 2 o’clock at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 307 Third Street, Midland. A reception will follow. Interment will be held later at St. James-on-the-Lines Cemetery, Penetanguishene, ON.
