<div itemprop="description">Ives, William &quot;Bill&quot; Henry, passed away peacefully at the Villa Care Centre in Midland on August 5, 2013 at the age of 93. Cherished husband of Verna Evelyn Ives for 72 years. Loving father of Edwin &quot;Ted&quot; (Jennifer), Bill, and the late Richard (survived by Amanda). Loved grandfather of Elizabeth, Matthew, Sarah, Hilary; and great-grandfather of Jackson Richard. Predeceased by siblings George, Herbert &quot;Bud&quot; and Muriel Parkin. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Bill proudly served our country during WW II as a member of the Queen's Own Rifles Army Regiment. If desired, memorial donations to the Last Post Fund would be appreciated. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.</div>
